With breeding going back to Native Dancer, Alydar and Bold Ruler,
this sweet gelding is built like a tank! Standing only 16hh he weighs
almost 1,200 lbs but canters as light as a butterfly. River is very
easygoing and nothing seems to spook him – he jumps pretty
much anything you point him at and enjoys getting hauled out for
trail rides with his buddies. He has very natural lead changes over
fences as well as on the flat …he would be a great
cross-country jumper as well as a nice hunter. He is calm enough
for a beginner but can get “up” when asked to. Lots
of potential for lots of fun!
